Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Fox finally released the exclusive broadcast trailer for their very real and very awesome looking movie, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Based on Seth Grahame-Smiths book, the story is about Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States, and how he discovers vampires are planning to take over the United States, making it his mission to eliminate them. This rather seemingly comical movie has now be revealed as anything but a joke. This action packed film is said to be released in theaters on June 22nd, 2012.

I honestly, after seeing the trailer, have become interested in the movie and will probably be seeing it myself in June.

'Cheetah Bot' breaks world record for fastest legged robot!

This headless robot, nicknamed the 'Cheetah Bot' has broken the world record for being the fastest robot with legs, reaching up to 18 mph! Developed by Boston Dynamics with funding from the US military's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, this four legged wonder was created for a program aimed at achieving theoretical and experimental advances in the science of robotics. The Cheetah shattered the record set in 1989 when a two legged robot at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ran at a speed of just over 13mph. The director of the project, Dr Alfred Rizzi, states that they are not yet finished with the project as their ultimate goal is to reach a much higher speed and to even get it to be able to run in rough terrains.

To be honest, I think that this is awesome! Robots are cool altogether, but this one just seems to stick out from the crowd.

"SteamBox" in the works?

Video game designing companys Valve and Steam is rumored to be creating their own video gaming console. Valve is responsible for the creation of games such as Left 4 Dead, Portal, and Half-Life and Steam is an online computer software that allows you to buy and play games on any computer. Its to no surprise that they are rumored to start creating a console just for Steam and Valve games.

I think its awesome that they are creating a "SteamBox" because I am a huge fan of Valve games and I play games on Steam all the time.

A gun that literally stops you from talking!

Ever wanted to stop some annoying person from talking? Well, now you can! Developed at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology in Japan, the SpeechJammer literally makes your victims confused and unable to speak. The gun records what you say and sends it back to the person talking at a .02 second delay. When this happens, your brain can't process what is happening and makes your speech either slurred or stops the talking altogether!

To have something like this would be awesome. I would no longer have to listen to my little brother complain all the time.
