Rick Santorum says we need more religious influence in pubilc policy

While speaking to a Detroit chamber of commerce, Rick says that the constitutions interpretation of freedom of religion has been "turned on its head" and offers a solution. “The idea that the church can have no influence or no involvement in the operation of the state is absolutely antithetical to the objectives and vision of our country.” Rick believes that there is a serious problem when the church has no right  to influence the state and says he's gonna try to do something about it.

I think that the separation of church and state are good. I have no reason to see how the church could help with anything. There is a reason they separated them in the first place, and I think that it should stay that way.
